I believe all students are capable of learning, it just takes a little work finding the best strategy that makes sense for them. Once students know how to approach a subject, they have the tools needed to guide their own learning. I have been teaching students with special needs for over twelve years. I am very patient, and have a wide array of techniques that I use to help my students perform at their optimal level. I offer tutoring in Algebra 1-2, Elementary Math, Reading, Writing, Phonics, Pre-Algebra, Math, English, Special Education, Middle School Math, Study Skills and Organization, and a variety of test prep, including ISEE: Lower and Middle Level, and SSAT: Elementary and Middle Level.I am a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where I earned a master's degree in Education. When I'm not working with students, I love to be outside, and I especially enjoy relaxing at the beach.
