Education

I am originally from Lexington, South Carolina. I graduated from High School with honors. I attended Clemson University from 2011-2014, graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. in History in 3.5 years. I then attended the University of Georgia from 2015-2018, graduating cum laude with a Juris Doctorate. I took and passed the Georgia Bar in 2018.

Experience

I have no experience tutoring, but I love learning about and teaching history to others. I am also committed to helping those that have the dream of attending law school or other graduate/professional programs to realize that dream, whether in prepping for the LSAT (for law school) or by raising their grades and outstanding achievement in high school and college. History and social studies have, combined, been my favorite subjects since grade school. I always loved (and continue to love) learning about history, government, and the intersection of the two. In high school, I took several AP courses related to history and government, including: AP World History, AP U.S. History, AP European History, and AP Government. In college, I took primarily humanities/social studies courses once my general education requirements were completed. This included classes in history, government, economics, religion, and legal studies. In my entire time at Clemson, I never made below an A in any history class. My final cumulative GPA was above a 3.85 at Clemson. In law school, I was in the cumulative top 20-25% of my class for every semester in school. With classes of only about 180 persons, this means that I was roughly one of the top 45-50 achievers in my entire class. I am excited to get started on tutoring students that are eager and willing to learn. I think learning and high achievement is a matter of attitude as much as aptitude, and I hope to present students with the opportunities and skills to learn the subjects I tutor, as well as putting them in the frame of mind to succeed in every aspect of their academic careers.
